Delicious Decodables for Success!
Funded Feb 12, 2025I cannot thank you enough for your donations to my classroom. Your donations will be so loved by many kids for many years. It is such a relief that I will be able to continue to support the needs of my students with ease of knowing I have many opportunities with books to experience new adventures. Also the supplies will be coming at just the right time for our classroom as things are running low. Thank you again for your support.”

Funded Oct 20, 2023The students have loved all of the new books. I work with students who struggle with reading and so they often are at the same levels for a period of time. Having the ability to have more books for them to explore and try to find some that they are engaged with is huge in reading. The wordless books are phenomenal for all areas of literacy instruction. With these we are able to work on author's craft, details, voice, etc. and then when we move into writing we are able to work on the phonics and vocabulary along with organization. These books allow my students who struggle to feel successful in their own way while reading books.
Next the pop bracelets, magna doodle board, and the LCD tablets have been a raving success as these materials have allowed students to manipulate words in different ways that keeps the students engaged and often asking for them daily vs the white board. The games are another way I have been able to instruct while the kids are having fun playing a game and allows us to switch up a routine and practice skills in different ways. Lastly the book holders have been wonderful for when students read as it holds the books and takes out the movement/distractibility components which allow the students to keep their eyes focused on the task.”
