This classroom project was brought to life by Herb Kohl Philanthropies.

I want to use these iPads as a way to supplement writing instruction. We can work on writing and other programs to create an interactive writing regiment daily. They will be used primarily in my classroom so that when there is downtime, the students will be allowed to use them while I'm working with other students. I think that iPads have many benefits and can provide instruction in ways that are not otherwise possible. Apps such as Clickr and Teach Monster help students with disabilities to visualize writing in a new way!
