During math, reading, and social studies/science instruction, our students are assigned to various independent, partner, and small group stations. These stations are designed to provide remediation or enrichment learning opportunities for each child's specific learning needs. Some of these tasks require students to listen and respond to a learning activity on their school-provided Chromebook. A majority of our students provide their own headphones, however, some families cannot. Having access to quality, dependable headphones for each child is a definite key to success when using technology in the classroom. Headphones promote focus not only for the students using them but, also, for those nearby who might be distracted otherwise by the sound of online activity.
