With this project I aim to have my room be a classroom that students want to come to learn in. I'm aiming for learning to speak and read English with comfort and not intimidation. A sofa where the students can sit comfortably and read or discuss the frustration effecting their lifes at this moment will add a positive atmosphere to the classroom environment. This can spill into the students’ individual lives and positively effect the other academic content areas. I want my Special Needs students to recognize that they can achieve when they apply effort and consistency to their academic assignments.
