  • Reading A-Z for Students

    Funded Nov 23, 2024

I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation, which has provided our classroom with access to Reading A-Z. This incredible resource will have a profound impact on our students' literacy development, and we are so grateful for your support in helping them become confident, proficient readers.

Reading A-Z is a powerful tool that offers a wealth of leveled books, interactive lessons, and printable resources, all of which are tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. With access to these high-quality materials, we can now provide targeted instruction that helps every child learn how to read on grade level, regardless of where they are starting from. The ability to personalize reading lessons for each student will ensure that every learner can progress at their own pace, while also challenging them to reach their full potential.

The diversity of books and materials available through Reading A-Z means that students can explore a variety of genres and topics, sparking their curiosity and fostering a deeper love of reading. Whether they are working on fluency, comprehension, or vocabulary, the wide range of leveled texts allows us to meet each student exactly where they are, while still pushing them to grow. • Independent Reading Books

    Funded Sep 6, 2024

On behalf of the 5th-grade students in our classroom, I want to express our sincere gratitude for your generous donation of high-interest chapter books. Your thoughtful contribution will have an incredible impact on our students, igniting their imaginations and fostering a love for reading.

As educators, we know how essential it is to provide students with reading material that is both engaging and age-appropriate. The books you donated are perfect for sparking curiosity and helping our students develop a lifelong passion for reading. For many of our 5th graders, reading can sometimes feel like a challenge, but by offering exciting and captivating stories, you've made it possible for them to see reading as an adventure, not a task. These books will not only help improve their literacy skills, but also encourage critical thinking, empathy, and creativity.

Your donation will allow students to choose from a wider variety of books that cater to their individual interests, whether it's mystery, fantasy, science fiction, or historical fiction. This choice and autonomy are key to fostering motivation and engagement in the classroom. Moreover, having access to such rich, high-quality texts ensures that every student can find something that speaks to them, which is crucial for building confidence as a reader.”

  • 5th Grade Printer Ink

    Funded Dec 4, 2024

On behalf of the students and teachers in our classroom, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of color printer ink. Your contribution will make a significant difference in our ability to create more accessible and engaging learning resources for our students.

As educators, we are always striving to provide materials that cater to the diverse needs of our learners. Colorful, visually stimulating resources such as charts, infographics, flashcards, and worksheets have proven to enhance students' understanding and retention of information, especially for visual learners. Thanks to your donation, we now have the ability to produce these materials more regularly, improving the overall learning experience for every student in our class.

The accessibility of these resources is crucial in helping us meet the varied needs of our students, including those with different learning styles and abilities. With the ability to print in color, we can create clearer, more differentiated content that better supports students who may struggle with traditional black-and-white materials. From vocabulary sheets that feature colorful images to visual schedules that help with classroom routines, your support is directly impacting our ability to cater to all learners.

Thank you again for your kindness and support. It truly makes a difference!”

  • 5th Grade Novel Study-Holes!

    Funded Aug 1, 2024

Thank you so much for making it possible for my students to engage with the novel Holes by Louis Sachar in a way I've always dreamed of! In past years, I've shared this powerful story with classes using limited printed copies, which meant students had to take turns or rely on read-alouds. While these experiences were valuable, they didn't allow for the deep, hands-on engagement I knew was possible.

This year, thanks to your generosity, every student will have their own copy of Holes. They'll be able to underline, annotate, and truly immerse themselves in the text. I can already imagine the thoughtful discussions we'll have as we unpack themes like friendship, justice, and redemption together. Students will have the opportunity to connect with the characters in a personal and meaningful way, deepening their comprehension and love for reading.

Your support is opening doors for these young learners, not just for this novel but for the broader goal of fostering a lifelong love of literature. Thank you for believing in the power of education and stories. You've given us a gift that will inspire my students for years to come.”

    With gratitude,
