Flexible Seating

Thank you again so much for donating to my Flexible Seating project! My students have enjoyed being able to use the different seating options throughout the school day.

One of the highlights of our morning is for each student to be able to pick out their seating. They take turns choosing a ball, chair, lap desk or cushion that they use for the day. We have learned about patience, taking turns, sharing and not being disappointed when we don't get what we want for the day through this process. They have also taken on the responsibility of cleaning the seating, putting it away properly at the end of the day and keeping it "like new" each day.

The students agree that the seating helps them feel more comfortable while working or listening to lessons. They're excitement when they get to choose first or snag their preferred seating is so fun to see!
