  • Bringing Light Into Our Classroom!

    Funded Sep 21, 2023

Thank you so much for your contribution to my students and our classroom. They have been so excited ever since I told them it had been ordered! As soon as it got to the school we put it up and it gets played with every day.

They use it for their magnatiles, x-rays, magnets, etc. They all have so much fun with it and sometimes even ask for specific settings. The color flashing mode, color changing, white, solid colors, the list goes on.

I feel so blessed to have received this from generous donors for our classroom. My students really deserve it!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Karlee

  • Cubbies for Personal Space and Cleanliness

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

Thank you all so much for your support in getting personal cubbies for each of my students. It is so important to their health and safety to have their own space without integrating with other classes.

It means so much to us that we all have our own personal space. I have had these cubbies for 2 classes now and arrival and dismissal are both so much smoother now. We have been able to contain students belonging without constantly loosing them to our partner class. We also now have space to keep all of their extra clothes in a safe and organized space away from the germs of the bathroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Karlee

  • Indoor Play Here To Save The Day

    Funded Jan 31, 2022

Our items have all arrived and have been set up in our new indoor playroom! Each class has the opportunity to use the toys and the room during their recess time.

All of the students were so excited getting to walk around and explore this whole new room. Every time they go in there they seem to find something new.

Thank you all so much for giving these kids the opportunity to have an educational space to get out of the room and have a recess break while the weather is less than desirable. I hope you all enjoy the photos that I have uploaded of the students getting to interact will their new things!”

  • Handwashing In Play

    Funded Sep 8, 2021

Thank you all so much for your help in providing these materials for our classroom! We have used them multiple times for fun hands on learning. We received 5 sinks that just require batteries to pump water through the basin to the faucet to act as though it is a true faucet for kids.

Our students have been able to learn more about handwashing! They work together talking about how to wash their hands. They find it fun to play in the water and have even enjoyed taking a couple sinks into the house centers and washed dishes!

The sinks have been so helpful for the kids in learning sharing. Thank you all so much for providing this unique experience for our students!”

  • Organize Our Supplies!

    Funded Apr 16, 2021

The organizational tubs we were able to get from this project have created such a fun learning space for our students. We have an art center full of opportunities.

Our students love having a space that they can explore their creativity with a wide variety of supplies. We can use these tubs to sort and change out materials on a regular basis.

We have space for glue, craft paper, scissors, stencils, etc. Thank you all so much for such a wonderful experience you have made possible for these students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Karlee

  • Clean Water & Healthy Kids

    Funded Apr 20, 2021

Thank you for all the funding you provided to give my students appropriate storage for our water bottles. No one wants to see our students get sick and I believe that cutting out water fountain use is going to be a great start for that!

My students love being able to put their water bottle in their special spot and knowing exactly where it is all day long! We have them all down low in a safe space to keep them available for students all day.

We have only been back to school for 2 weeks yet the all of my kiddos know exactly where their bottles are and are staying healthy and hydrated! You were a part of making that happen!”

  • Learning Language with Pretend Play

    Funded Jan 30, 2021

Thank you all so much for making this wonderful project happen! Our students are very young and in turn that can be hard on our toys. Sometimes it is hard to keep up with the demand for quality educational toys.

Since we received our items we have used them daily. We have an entire center dedicated to little people toys, where the students work together and pretend with the characters, houses, and transportation. Our Alphabots have been added to the manipulatives and the students use them constantly. They love to use their imagination while playing with the bots.

We appreciate all of your generous donations. Thank you for making a difference in all our our students play!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Karlee

  • Science Our Foundation of Learning!

    Funded Jan 28, 2020

I want to send out a huge thank you to all of you for your support! You got this project funded in under 1 week! How exciting. I can't wait to show my students their new things. Thank you again for giving my students the opportunity to gain their scientific knowledge through their everyday play!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Karlee

It is all too often that science is overlooked and undervalued. What we need to understand is that science is everywhere and used all the time. From walking down the street to painting your living room you are using science. Our preschoolers are still learning about these basic things such as colors, gravity, body parts, 5 senses, etc. We take this knowledge for granted. My students need diverse tools to help convert play into scientific knowledge. We can use these tools to learn about all the things stated above. We will mix colors and explore beyond primary and secondary colors. We will learn about different parts of our body and what they are used for. Please help me partner with my students to not just tell them the truths of science but to let them explore it and find deeper understanding through independant learning!
