The heart rate monitors will teach students the benefits and fun of various forms of physical activity and exercise. My goal is to educate students at a young age on the benefits of living a physical fit and healthy lifestyle. I will use these monitors to give students' a visual of the cardiovascular system at work so that they may make real-world connections (i.e. sports, working-out, yoga, etc.) My goal is to teach students how to successfully exercise in a safe atmosphere that will promote life long physical activity. With this new equipment students will leave the gymnasium more knowledgeable and comfortable identifying appropriate, fun and safe forms of fitness and exercise. I had the opportunity to utilize these materials myself in a school that I visited. The PE teacher explained the enormous success, knowledge and motivation these materials have on his students.
