  • Help Fix the 1980's Vomit Orange Trim and Grimy Doors

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity! We are so excited to make these changes to our classroom. Having a clean, neat, and maintained environment makes such a difference in the pride and ownership students have for their classroom.

I wish we didn't have to have the safety items like door window covers, but it will be so nice to replace our laminated paper with actual curtains!

I can't wait to see my student's faces when I tell them the supplies are on their way!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Beks

  • Update the Student Lab Experience

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Your generous donation is very much appreciated! I can't wait to see my student's faces. They're going to be so excited, as am I!

You change the future when you change the world for a child and with these kids, you've helped make the future brilliant!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Beks

  • Door Dash Labs

    Funded Dec 22, 2020

I don't have the words to express my gratitude and humbleness for your support of our kiddos. Its been a rough year for so many and I am so grateful to be able to support these kiddos as they rock it educationally! I love that their ability to do labs isn't dependant on their parents financial status. Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Beks

My students are at home glued to their screens, they complain of headaches and boredom. They tell me they hate learning by distance over Zooms or Meets. I've been striving to change up this distance environment and engage kiddos with safe, home appropriate, sibling welcome Biological lab activities. To this end, I have been raiding my lab and home to send each student a lab kit each week. Labs include activities like Giant Bubble Cell Membranes, Clay Long Bones, Orbeez Cell Size Calculations, DIY Edible Water Bottles, Dragon Breeding, Resin Mitosis, and Candy Hematocrits. These labs involve simple ingredients like corn starch, cream of tartar, rubbing alcohol, balloons, and baggies and vials to package ingredients in. I want to keep doing this, but paying for it is becoming an issue and I'm nearly out of supplies.
