With access to audiobook technology, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. They will be able to easily explore different genres and find texts that interest and excite them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read, read, read, and access audiobooks, paired with the printed word will enable my students to strengthen their reading skills. Increased exposure to varied types of text will increase reading fluency, decoding and comprehension skills. It will also help them find joy in reading.
