Funded Jun 14, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donations that made this possible. We will use this generosity to its fullest extent in providing equitable math education to all students from pre k - 5th grade. I look forward to the joy on the students faces when they see the new games!”

Access to Ornithological Study
Funded Feb 12, 2024Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your support in purchasing these binoculars has given students access to the tools to directly observe the natural world. We took these tools on a long trip to Plum Island, a major bird migration stop over off of the coast of Massachusetts. Because of this gift to our students, we were able to put binoculars in the hands of every single participant.
I saw with my own eyes the confidence and curiosity bloom with all of these young naturalists. Honestly, after serving communities in nature-connection work for the greater part of 2 decades, seeing public school students access this part of their learning was deeply moving to me.
Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know my colleagues and other collaborators will echo this sentiment.”

Math Learning Through Student Discourse
Funded Oct 10, 2023I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Because of your contributions we have been able to provide our teaching team with the materials to support high quality math discourse. Students talking to each other about numbers contributes to a deeper mental fluency in math reasoning. We are seeing the impact in the grade levels that have access to the Sherri Parish book and we will be continuing to deepen this work with the resources that you have provided.
With deep gratitude,

Math Games for Math Intervention
Funded Feb 25, 2023Your generous donations last year have brought more Universal Design and access to learning in mathematics for our elementary students. On seeing the new math games, including multiple copies of favorites from our first round of games, the students expressed joy followed by a continued love for playing with math.
As an interventionist, I believe these tools create profound bridges and inroads to math concepts that our learners need. Learners that are struggling to understand concepts have clear and meaningful application to the learning they are receiving through play and social interaction.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart and from all of us at Twinfield Union School!”

Tools for Conceptual Understanding
Funded Nov 17, 2022Your purchase of conceptually supportive math manipulatives has been of great benefit to our students. We have used the base ten set to deepen our understanding of the nuances of base ten and how it relates to the math that they are engaging in in their main curriculum.
The hands on learning that these tools provides is key to deep understanding as well as problem solving skills. We have used the manipulatives to build an understanding of both addition and subtraction and can use them to deepen the work with decimals.
These are a great gift to our students.”

K-6 Games for Math Fluency
Funded Nov 12, 2022We cannot thank you enough for your generous contributions to our math learning community. The games that you purchased help to bolster our efforts in math-choice in a HUGE way. Students and colleagues alike have enjoyed the diverse in-roads into math learning and our student's, especially had some of the most encouraging words:
"I love math. I can't wait for menu" -6th grader
"Zeus On the Loose is the best game ever!" -4th Grader
"We love Sum Swamp!" a group of 1st Graders
These games are building engagement, fun, and passion for math education into the lives of all of our elementary students.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your dedicated support for public education, math learning, and specifically our rural community.”
