My students have a wide range of disabilities and many of them have a difficult time focusing and need constant sensory input. I want to give them an environment that will help keep their minds engaged in lessons by engaging their bodies. My goal is to have each center in our classroom with a different type of seating so that each student is getting sensory input while learning. This will allow my students to focus on the task at hand and allow for more learning and less reasons for them to escape tasks. Focusing at school does not come easy to my students and I want to provide every opportunity possible to allow them to reach their full potential.
