By creating an inviting learning space, scholars are encouraged to engage in learning activities through play without even realizing it. Light tables are an excellent source of visual sensory input. Scholars (and adults) are naturally drawn to the glow of the table and are often calmed by the visual stimulation as they explore the wide range of activities. The table is limitless. Imagine counting color beads on a light table or seeing the veins of a new spring leaf? Or even running your fingers through warm beads and finding objects that start with the letter "A" or even a scavenger hunt of green items.
