Please help my students by providing a space in the classroom where we can address their social/emotional coping skills. My students experience many obstacles. Their problems do not immediately end when they enter the classroom. Many days my students need a space to calm down and prepare for learning. The lounge and learn couch and the flex seating will provide a space for them to calm down when needed. These items will help my students prepare to enter/re-enter the learning environment. While they are seated in this area, they will reflect on their feelings/actions and will utilize the clipboards to record their emotions/resolutions.
