The chrome books that we have been so lucky to receive are used directly for individual student learning. The students are using them to work on two different computer programs each day. One of those focuses on math and the other focuses on reading.
My students were very excited when we received the chrome books. They couldn't believe that people donated so that our classroom could get these! They love that these chrome books are like mini laptops and they take turns using them. They are a favorite!
I have a few students who especially love to use the chrome books and ask everyday if it's their turn to use them. They are very careful with them and are taking great care of them! Thank you so much for helping our classroom. ❤️”

This classroom project was brought to life by Verizon and 3 other donors.

Having new technology for my students would make a world of difference. These Chromebooks would be used by the students for them to work on the reading and math programs we use within the classroom on a daily basis. The reading program is Lexia and math is Dreambox. Both of these programs are designed specifically for each student. The programs we use are a requirement within the school and each student needs to use them everyday in order to help them improve in reading and math. The more the students use the program, the quicker they will reach their goals.
