All of the supplies I'm requesting will be used to enhance how students understand literature and how it applies to their lives. The connections we make to literature form the basis of how we see the world. I want to show my students that the books written before cell phones still have meaning in the 21st century. My artistic students will get the chance to draw the African village of Umuofia and the castle of Macbeth; my competitive students will find motivation to learn about the Mexican Revolution by playing our classroom version of Jeopardy; and my expressive students will be able to create their own world with their writing.
