  • Run Away Supplies!

    Thank you again for your continued support in Education and to my classroom of first graders.

    At the beginning of the year, we had student supplies coming out of our ears and no place to store them. I had them all stuffed into my cupboards which made it difficult to get to when students needed a new glue stick or pack of crayons which is very time consuming.

    With your generous donations, I was able to purchase storage drawers for each student to put their supplies in and access them when needed.

    These have been such a great addition to our classroom and have helped so much with organization which has allowed for increased learning time!”

  • Phun Phonics Books

    With sincerely appreciation, I thank you for your support to our classroom. With your generous donation, we were able to receive four sets of decodable books to help us move from learning to read to read to learn readers.

    My students were so excited to see the new books arrive and to be added to our classroom library. They love to switch out their books daily for new ones to read during their independent reading time.

    I have seen the joy and excitement on their faces when they are able to pick a book that they can actually read and the book is of interest to them.

  • Accessibility is Key in Learning

    My students and I are extremely thankful for the very generous donations to purchase our much needed charging stations for our classroom!

    Immediately after opening the packages, our Chromebooks became 100 times for accessible and easier to manage within the classroom.

    The students can independently reach, retrieve, and return their Chromebooks on their own and the bonus is that the Chromebooks will always be 100% charged! The charging station relieves the burden on having to always check to make sure the students Chromebooks are charged and takes away not having enough outlets to have all Chromebooks charged at one time.

    These have been a great addition to our classroom and we are so grateful for them!”

  • Engaging Students with Hands on Math Manipulatives

    I thank you for all your very generous donations to get these amazing math tool kits to my distance learning students. You can probably imagine the difference between using a virtual math manipulative and an actual one you can manipulate in your hands. I am hoping these math tools will help to increase my students engagement and academic achievement during my virtual math lessons. My students were so excited to first hear that they would be receiving these kits, then thrilled when they got them, and they were even more excited to start using them.

  • Recess and Snack Necessities

    My class is certainly enjoying a yummy, nourishing snack everyday if they forgot to bring one from home or if they don't have one to bring. It helps them to engage more in class and maintain their focus. They were super excited when they saw all the snack choices!

    Also, they have been super happy when they forget their snow pants, boots, or gloves knowing Mrs. Kivi now has a bunch to borrow and use. They are staying extra dry and warm at recess which helps them to stay comfortable in class for the rest of the day.

Also, many of my students come to school daily without a snack. They either can't afford to bring one or they forget to pack one from home. We have a longer morning, so many students get very hungry before lunch and need a snack to keep them engaged in learning. Your donations will help keep my students warm and get nourished to have a nice, comfortable day of learning at school.
