Our reading library is a place for relaxation for my students and they enjoy spending time there. I understand the value and importance of reading and it’s benefits of creating independent, analytical thinkers as well as the sheer joy that students get from reading what they enjoy. Further, when students are reading books of their own choosing, they are more likely to continue reading into adulthood. Specifically, for my students it will increase their English vocabulary, help them understand colloquial language and how it is used in context. For all students this translates to better writers that know how to express themselves and fosters positive self-esteem for all students.
