  • Brand New Year, New Class, and New Opportunities for Learning

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom. I am excited to share the wonderful news with my students! I am also very excited to share our new books that highlight the diversity in our room! Your donation will help our multicultural classroom with acceptance, and that is so important to me. I am beyond grateful to you!”

  • Classroom Essentials to Kick Off an Amazing New Year

    Funded Aug 4, 2023

Thank you for helping me supply the fundamental supplies for my new 4th-grade students. Your generosity has made a huge impact in several ways. Our campus is a Title 1 school where most of our students and parents are unable to provide their own supplies. Your donation has helped our classroom be stocked with all the essential supplies they need to show how amazing they are.

My students love reading, and our reading corners are a vital part of that. My 4th graders are excited to earn a place in the corner to get comfortable and immerse themselves in a fun book. A number of those books were a part of this project that they are able to read and enjoy. Additionally, they are learning to become better writers with fun posters that teach great writing skills.

Our classroom has been enriched because of you and we are forever grateful!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Scott

  • Setting Up A Confident And Organized Classroom

    Funded Aug 22, 2023

Thank you for helping me set up an organized and inviting classroom for my new 4th-grade students. Your generosity has made a huge impact in several ways. During the past few months, our new administrative staff and district personnel have visited our campus.

A piece of feedback that has been consistent during their visit is how inviting and organized our learning environment is.

My students love reading, and our reading corners are a vital part of that. My 4th graders are excited to earn a place in the corner to get comfortable and immerse themselves in a fun book. Our laptop stand has helped us keep our technology safe and neat and in a place that allows the tables to be used for other purposes, such as our writing corner, which holds the writing posters that help our students become better writers. Additionally, the cleaning supplies have helped keep our room clean. The highlight of our classroom is the reading chair where I comfortably sit and read fun novels together with the students. They even love to earn time to be a reading leader and sit in the chair themselves!

With all of these donations, the students have also had the opportunity to become helpers and leaders in their space. Each student has a classroom job that includes a tech leader, a librarian, and a cleaning crew; all jobs made possible because of your gift.”

    Mrs. Scott

  • Classroom Supplies to Prepare for Next Level Learning

    Funded Jan 6, 2022

Thank you immensely for your generous donation to my classroom supplies. As a Title 1 school, a number of our students are still unable to bring in essential supplies even through the end of the school year. Your donation helped our classroom fill those supplies and helped us get STAAR ready. During the last few months, my students worked hard to ensure a successful testing season. THEY DID GREAT! And it was all done with your donations.

The pencils, paper, and essential writing boards helped my students become better writers. They excelled in storytelling and increased their grammar usage. The other supplies helped with projects that increased their learning and fun!

Again, thank you so much for making an impact in my classroom. I am forever grateful.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Scott

  • First Year Teacher Ready to Setup an Impactful Classroom

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

I have been so honored by your kindness in donating to my first classroom. Not only has it made my transition into teaching much smoother, but more importantly, it has enriched each of my students. I have been able to provide supplies to those that need them most, set up an impactful classroom with resources they are enjoying, and provide a space that is fun for learning.

Because of your donation, my students were able to enter a classroom on their first day (some in over a year and a half due to at home learning) filled with supplies, games and charts that prepared their minds for a successful 4th grade year. Those that were unable to provide supplies for themselves did not have to worry or lack. That is an amazing feeling for a teacher.

I am excited to continue to grow my classroom with fun and enriching activities that will last me for years to come.

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Scott

At the advice of a few experienced teachers, these requested items are supplies that will play an instrumental part in the success of setting up my very first classroom as well as successful learning tools that will aid in my student's learning. I have been given the wonderful opportunity to start a new career as an educator, and I am so excited to start shaping young minds. As a recent graduate obtaining my Masters in Education I have an abundance of resources (and student loan debt) that I can't wait to utilize for my students. These supplies will be used to encourage learning at all levels and will help me focus on making sure my students have everything they need for a great year. As a Language Arts/Reading/Writing teacher, the Learning Resources, Games, and dry erase boards will be used for my students to have additional practice as a supplement during learning stations and small group time with me to check for understanding. Additionally, the globe will help as a visual aid during the social studies period. The additional supplies are those that will aid in keeping my classroom neat and organized for a positive learning environment as well as allow me to have supplies that some families may not be able to afford. I realize that teaching at a Title I school where most students come from low-income families will bring its challenges. But, I will not let that stop me. I plan to show them that they can achieve and become whatever they put their minds to.
