Bridging Reading and STEM With Lego Spike
Funded Nov 13, 2024Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom’s LEGO SPIKE project through DonorsChoose! Your contribution will make a world of difference for my students.
With these amazing LEGO SPIKE kits, my students will have the opportunity to dive deeper into STEM concepts, problem-solving, and collaboration while exploring robotics and coding in hands-on, engaging ways. These tools not only ignite their curiosity but also build the critical thinking skills they’ll need to succeed in the future.
I can’t wait to see their excitement when they begin designing, building, and programming their creations. Your support helps create a learning environment where their creativity can truly thrive.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and for helping to inspire the next generation of innovators!”
With gratitude,

Funded Nov 8, 2023I am writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of Makey Makey kits to our classroom. Your support has empowered my students to explore the realms of creativity and innovation in ways they never thought possible. With the Makey Makey kits, our classroom is transforming into a hub of ingenuity, where our students are diving into their projects that blend learning with technology.
In our current 5th grade project, students are collaborating in pairs to design and build their own Operation Game to teach about the human body system of their choice. In our current 4th grade project, students will be researching and bringing a revolutionary war person to life with the use of makey makey. In leading up to the project witnessing their excitement as they discovered how to turn simple items into interactive controllers was inspiring.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and belief in the power of hands-on learning. Your contribution has not only provided us with valuable learning resources but has also sparked a newfound passion for exploration and innovation in each student, and we are immensely grateful for your support.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Ziada Brandt
