The future of extended learning programs in our schools has changed dramatically in the last 10 years. The addition of eSports as a school club or activity has added pressure within school districts to keep up with changing technology. How do we respond to the student who may not excel on the athletic field? The answer is simple target those students and find what engages that student. This process is simple access and opportunity. As a school district, we must ignore the stigma that this industry is not educational. As a multi million dollar industry that provides scholarships it is imperative that we give these student the opportunity to succeed.
