Funded Jan 30, 2022Thank you for your donations to purchase winter clothing and accessories for my students. It seems like we have had more cold days this past winter and early spring than before so having gloves, hats, and jackets for kids has been wonderful!
Having items available for students to use when its cold or windy out to protect them from the weather is just what they need when they go out to recess. The bright colors and fun textures of the items were a big hit! It helped make the items more special for each student.
Thank you again for your support of Garfield students in this way!”

Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow!
Funded May 20, 2021I cannot thank you enough for your financial support for my project. The money you donated went towards buying attendance incentives for the building. Missing just two days a month means a child misses 10% of the school year and is more likely to not graduate on time. Reminding students and families of the importance of daily attendance is one way to help our kids be more successful.
Each week I go around to classes celebrating students' awesome attendance! I pass out the supplies you provided and continue to motivate them to come to school each day. The students get excited when I enter the classroom and are anxious to see who will be celebrated that week.
Thank you again for all of your support. I really appreciate it.”

Funded Feb 12, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donation so I could purchase a standing desk and stool for students to use. For students with ADHD having the ability to move around while working greatly increasing their ability to focus and thrive in an academic setting. It is my goal to be able to purchase additional standing desks in the future so that more students can benefit.
When the desk arrived it was immediately put together and placed in the classroom. When the students arrived the next day, there was a lot of excitement! Thank you again for your financial gift to support Garfield Students. It means a lot, especially during these times.”

Winter is Coming!
Funded Dec 12, 2019I can't thank you enough for your generous contributions to my donors choose project for warm winter accessories. We have already had a few light snows this winter so being able to provide warm winter things like gloves and hats has been amazing. Children at my school have come into my office during recess and or before school to ask to have or borrow the items and they light up when I bring out everything for them to choose. Even having the option to choose which color for them is something special.
Your donation has provided some ease during these cold winter months and allowed the children at my school to have a little more fun at recess. Thank you again for helping out.”
