Let's Explore the World!
Funded Mar 3, 20243rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students at Myrtle Crest were able to display their learning about their geographic area of study with the help of this project.
Students spent weeks researching their county, state, or country in order to put together an extensive presentation using the supplies that your donation provided. This project allowed students to take pride and ownership of their own learning in a new way they had not yet experienced this school year.
We were able to put together a Geography fair that allowed students to engage families and show off their hard work! The turnout from our community was a great show of support for students' educational journies!
My students, myself, and all the benefitting participants greatly appreciate your help in making this event happen!”

Water Bottle Station for Better Education
Funded Mar 27, 2020This project has been very impactful for our students and school! This water bottle filling station was installed in the fifth and sixth grade hallway, and has already served a great number of students.
Thanks to this wonderful new addition to our hallway, our students are staying better hydrated throughout the day. As a result, they are more focused and active in their learning. They are able to fill up their water bottles that they can then bring to class, meaning that there is less instructional time lost going to the water fountain for a drink.
Installing the water bottle filling station has made the hallway safer as well! Students no longer make such a mess attempting to fill their water bottles out of the fountain meant for drinking.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Miller
