Wonder by R.J. Palacio and Holes by Louis Sachar are two of my favorite books to read to fourth graders. These book are highly engaging and encourage students to believe in themselves. With the emphasis on technology in education, I feel like students don't sit down with a good book anymore. Having a class set of these books would allow my students to dive into literature while we are doing our read aloud in class. Students often rush to the library to check out the one copy of the book I am reading in class. How special would it be for all of us to be able to follow along and learn together? I would appreciate your help in encouraging my students to read! Thank you!
