Badminton is a fun and easy to learn game. It can bring students together by creating a community atmosphere. It gives them a connection to the school, boosts their self-esteem and is great for stress relief. Right now, I have been buying all the equipment or borrowing from the physical education department. The rackets are old and are always breaking. I have several of them taped up, but the strings are coming undone. We don't always have playable rackets for everyone to participate. As the club becomes more popular, more students are having to wait their turn to play. With this money, I will be able to purchase more durable rackets and shuttlecocks.
