  • Online Learning Supplies!

    Funded Nov 20, 2020

Thank you so much for helping my class receive school suppies. We have been using them each day for our math and reading notebooks. The pencils and folders are also being used each day. My students come from very low-income homes and having school supplies to use has really helped them. When my class found out that strangers gifted them these supplies they were in shock. They could not believe that people that they do not even know would help them and care about their education.

Again, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stone

  • Flexible Seating

    Funded Jan 27, 2020

First off THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! This was my first time asking for funding for the classroom and I was a little nervous. I was shocked by the love and support from family, friends and my previous teachers/ principals.

My students were so excited and also shocked that their community would be gifting free chairs and glue sticks. We were able to open the packages together and the students helped me put the chairs together. It was amazing to see them smile with joy. I can't tell you how much this means to my 29 students that YOU impacted!

One student said, " When I get older I am going to donate money to your classroom Mrs. Stone, so I can help the kids like these people did".

    Again, THANK YOU!!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stone

I am a 4th grade teacher trying to create a space for my students to feel comfortable and ready to learn. I would like to provide my students with more choices for seating other than the traditional desks and chairs. They love to sit on the few chairs I currently have. Students spend all day sitting at desks when desks aren't the ideal learning space for all kids. Some students prefer to stand or walk around, while others prefer to sit closer to the floor. Students are more engaged in their learning when given options of where to work. The options provided by this project will allow them to pick a seating choice that is best for how they learn and will encourage them to become more enthusiastic learners. Flexible seating enhances student voice and choice and helps them take ownership of their space. Please help us create this space to develop the love of learning.
