I am requesting pulleys, twine, craft sticks, railroad boards, magnets, dominoes and more. With today's changing and evolving need for technology, I want to be able to teach my students about simple machines and physics using Rube Goldberg machines. These machines allow students to learn about the natural physics of force, movement, and kinetic energy. This fun and creative way of teaching using the Rube Goldberg machine allows each student to individually express their own unique sense of creativity while also teaching them physics. This project allows each student to participate by building their machines as simple or as complex as they want with some of the materials they have at home.
