Make Remote Learning Fun With IXL
Funded Oct 9, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations! Through your kindness, we were able to purchase IXL licenses for all our 9-12 grade students. Since the start of the school year, our students have been utilizing IXL in every math course. Not only do students receive adaptive exercises and instant feedback for each question, but IXL has given us real-time data to shape our instruction to best support student growth.
Moreover, with the difficulties that remain with COVID-19 and remote learning this school year, IXL has enabled our students to access a math resource and continue learning while at home.
Thank you again for your support on this project! Our students and I truly appreciate this gift that you have given us.”

TI-84 Graphing Calculators for AP Statistics
Funded Feb 9, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations! Through your kindness, we were able to purchase a class set of TI-84 Graphing Calculators for our AP Statistics class. When the shipment came, my students excitedly to unboxed them and immediately put them to use to help with their statistical analysis---calculating the confidence intervals they had just learned how to do!
Moreover, with the difficulties that came with COVID-19 and remote learning, these calculators allowed all my students to be able to bring one home with them to continue their studies and prepare for the 2020 AP Statistics Exam.
Thank you again for your support on this project! With your generosity, students were able to fully access the statistical concepts of this course that will help prepare them for college and beyond. My students and I truly appreciate this gift that you have given us.”

Uke Can Do It!
Funded Jan 10, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations! Through your kindness, we were able to purchase a class set of 10 beautiful ukuleles to start our first ever Ukulele Class. During January Regents week, we cleared space on one classroom wall and installed hooks to hang up each ukulele, very much looking forward to our students' surprise when they would all be back in school. That Monday, as soon as students came into my classroom, their eyes lit up in excitement and they immediately asked to try out the ukuleles!
While our official music class was not scheduled to start until the third trimester, we shared many moments of jamming out to songs students picked and would project ukulele chords/tabs onto the screen at the front of the room for everyone to play. Although quarantine during the last third of the school year has prevented us from seeing one another and making ukulele music together, we are all excited to officially start our music class as soon as we are able to next school year!
Thank you so much for your support on this project. Having the ukuleles hanging on the wall for students to easily reach has brought much excitement and joy to the atmosphere of my classroom. My students and I truly appreciate this gift that you have given us.”
