Wobbly Seats for Wonderful Scholars

Thank you so much for your help funding wobble cushions for my class! Your donations will benefit my students for years to come. I am so excited about the wonderful assistance that they will provide in meeting the diverse needs of the children who will use them- from giving an extra boost in height to giving a little more opportunity for the kids to move even during tasks the involve being seated.”

Elementary school children are full of energy, especially younger students and students who are coming from high-energy times such as lunch and recess. Though my classroom offers opportunities for movement, there are also times where students need to be at their seats for instruction or skills practice. By providing my students with the option to pick up wobble cushions if needed, students can channel energy in ways that are subtle enough to allow themselves and their peers to be able to concentrate on their tasks. Students will be able to 'rock' in their chairs using the cushions while the chairs stay safely on the ground. Thes cushions can also give my younger students an extra bit of height to help them reach items on the tables more easily.
