• PHS Theatre Storage

  Thank you very much for the donation so that we could purchase storage shelves for my theatre students. They were excited when they arrived and helped to assemble them. After that, they sorted all of our costumes into the tubs and got them labeled and organized.

  We are continually building a theatre department from scratch and every little thing helps us to be successful. The students will continue to use these materials as they make more costumes and props for further productions. Thank you again for all of your help!”

• PHS Teacher Tools to Success

  I can't think each of you enough for your generous donations to fund this project. With your support, I was able to get sewing materials for my students to use in class. We got a sewing machine, body form, and much more!

  My students were beyond excited to get these items. I have one student in particular who loves to sew and create costumes for our productions. She immediately got to work draping material on the body form and designing a costume for our spring musical.

  Because of your donation, my students get to have the opportunity to continue to build on their costume design and construction skills. They will be able to design and sew costumes for so many future productions!”

  This last week, my students were able to utilize the items that you previously purchased for them. Having these walkie-talkies to use during the production of their fall play not only helped them to have a smoothly ran show, but it also helped them to feel as if they were able to communicate more efficiently.

  When I first showed these items to the students, they all had a huge smile on their faces. They were so excited to be so "official" finally! The show that they used these on was a huge success!”

• PHS Drama Needs Your Help!

  Thank you so very much for your contributions to the theatre department here at Piedmont High School. We were able to purchase the 8 body microphones for our department and are putting them to use in the spring musical this week!

  Last night, we had our first technical rehearsal and the students were able to use the microphones. It is making the musical so much more polished and allows these students to feel as if they are putting on a professional performance.

  We will continue to use these microphones in many more upcoming shows! I can't thank you enough for how much you gave to help us build this department and theatre program.”
