Graphic t-shirts and branding are a huge part of my student's everyday lives as they use these to express themselves. My students will explore what makes a great design and how trends influence buyers. They will create digital designs on the computer and then transfer them onto the screens for printing. There is nothing more satisfying than to see your artwork on someone's shirt. The process doesn't end after the first shirt is made. They will learn to print in a series as they take orders for their shirt designs. Faculty and students will get the chance to wear and show off my student's designs in the spring art show. This gives my students real-world experience in screen printing and graphic designing for the public.
