    Thanks to your generous donations, the snacks lasted until November 2021! My students were able to get fed during the school day and take some home when needed. It helped them refocus and feed themselves and their families at home.

Our school currently has approximately 165 students who are in temporary housing. Many students come from homes where basic necessities such as a stove and microwave are not provided or available. Our students often rely on us for snacks and food throughout the day, which is difficult for many of them to obtain outside of school. Many of our students only have access to food while they are at school. Providing our students with nutrients and access to food encourages them to come to school and helps them remain focus throughout the school day. Food is also sent home with students, especially if they have siblings, as many of our families rely on it for nourishment when they get home from school. Ultimately, your contributions will go towards meeting a very important need of our students who are living in the most challenging situations.
