In this day and age, students need more than the regular pencil and worksheet type of learning. Students learn best when they are able to move and interact with objects that help promote their learning. The selected items in my list is a way to make learning more interactive and fun for my students.
Due to COVID, many of my first grade students missed the opportunity to actually write, draw, or hold materials which is crucial for their age. The resources and tools in my list allow for students to bridge those lost opportunities in a way that engages them in wanting to become stronger learners. Hands-on manipulatives and tools are a must for this age. As well as adjustable seating for students to be able to learn and work comfortably anywhere in the classroom.
