  • Welcoming My 4th Graders Back to School

    Thank you so much for your generous donations! The students are so excited to come to school daily and know if they are hungry or need anything we have supplies for them. We thank you so much!! We are in a low socioeconomic area and your donations were greately appreciated. Our students are able to not worrying about having a lack of school supplies because we are able to give it to them. THey are especially enjoying the colored markers. They also are appreciative of the tissues instead of using school paper towels when they are sick, which happens often in our class.

  • Color Printers Are Fun!!

    Funded May 4, 2022

    Thank you so much for donating to our donor's choose project for a color printer. The students are enjoying the color printer. We are able to print out color copies for our activities, such as fun science concepts with animals and plants. We also have been able to print out color themes pages for math concepts we are learning. Our students are visual learners and the colors help them follow thru with steps for assignments as well.

    The color printer has broadened our classroom environment too. Now that we could print in color we have added such bright colors to the student's learning environment.

  • 3rd Grade Back in Action

    We can't thank you enough for the school supplies. The children have enough supplies to last a while in the classroom, especially the pencils, notebooks and crayons. They are also enjoying all the snacks that we have received. They love having a snack while they do classwork. It is so amazing to see how excited they got when they received the school supplies and snacks. The parents are also grateful for the supplies because money is tight for many families that attend our school. The snacks were especially helpful during the ELA state exams, it gave them a boost while they tested. It was much appreciated.”

  • Documenting our Remote Third Grade School Year

    Funded Jan 8, 2021

    The new Mac computer and document camera has made sharing and presenting so much easier for my students and for myself! The extra computer has made technology life being a remote teacher so much more convenient. I can share my screen with one computer and still see and interact with my students on the Mac.

    The document camera has been such huge game changes for my remote students. They are able to see me model my lessons first hand. This is especially helpful in math. My students struggle and now that they can work out the problems with me modeling they have made improvements.

These iPads will make such a difference in my classroom. The students will be able to use apps to learn mathematics and reading skills through games and puzzles. The students would also benefit from iPads because we do a lot of research and it would give them access to the internet for research. Students would also benefit from these iPads because some kids learn best through hands on experiences and there are so many educational apps out there for these kids. I would love to give them all the opportunites I could to expand on their learning outside of textbooks and workbooks.

About my class
