The second graders are excited to become better readers! They are expected to focus and participate in small reading intervention group for 40 minutes each day. This can be challenging. A few of these children have ADHD (attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity). Others struggle to focus and stay on task for that period of time. Some students struggle to self regulate (stay calm or know what to do to calm down), and some just have a lot of energy! They need ways to get some movement without disturbing others. The wobble stools will be a great option for these students to help them get the wiggles out while being able to focus and learn. They also like a variety of fidgets to choose from during certain parts of our lesson. Using fidgets really helps some stay calm and focus. Thank you for donating to this project. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
