Bienvenidos as Nuestro Salon de clases! Welcome to our classroom! Our class is a Dual Language Kindergarten class in San Diego, CA. We are a low-income inner city neighborhood school with a lot of heart, dedication and potential. The students in my classroom are vibrant, intelligent and full of energy. It amazes how much and how quickly they are learning and growing. However, the challenges we face in the classroom are not having those extra things that would make learning fun and exciting. Simple things like a color printer that would brighten up the blackline master books or learning centers especially in Spanish that would support the students' learning. One of my favorite proverbs in the African Proverb is "it takes a village to raise a child" and therefore, I am coming to you, my village, to help me educate the students in my classroom. Pls. consider our classroom for your donations. Gracias!
