Back to School! Providing Materials for Special Needs Students.
Funded Sep 17, 2023Thank you again for your generous donation. My students are utilizing all the donated items.
The students are able to work quietly by using their headphones with their school chrome books or iPads. The students use their erasable markers to show their work daily on the white board. The clipboard is used to assess and record observations of students work. Most importantly, when the students are overwhelmed or simply need a break, they can go to the quiet corner and enjoy viewing the fish and jellyfish swimming in the tank. This is one of their favorite places. Thank you again for providing all of these items to my students.”

Let’s Get This School Year Started Right
Funded Aug 9, 2022Your donation has significantly impacted my classroom. The students no longer have to share SPIRE boards. They can now independently create their own words without having to wait to take their turn to use the board of another.
The black adhesive was used to make the room look more appealing to students and for student information to stand out more. Information such as schedules, calendar and teaching points are more apparent with the black background. As for the green paper, it was used to create colorful bulletins boards to display students work.
The USB-C Adapter allows me to use my laptop with my board. I can display the work from my computer to the board.
Your donation provides my students with the same resources available to others and gives them equitable access.”

Ms. Alvarado
This classroom project was brought to life by Bill Gates and one other donor.Technology to Enhance Teaching and Learning
Funded Aug 20, 2021I would like to thank you for your generous donation. Because of your generosity, the students have access to web based tools. They have access to websites such as Epic and Reading A-Z. The projector and the document camera allows me to use visuals for those students that require videos or photos. These tools help me accommodate the multiple learning styles in the classroom.
The items I received from your donation, also help to improve, engage and focus students with their learning. The balloons and letter cut outs help make the classroom look more inviting. Students received materials such as erasers and markers to begin the year ready to learn. They were so happy to be provided with these materials and without your donation, this would not be possible. You are a contributor to educating our future leaders.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Alvarado
