The students of our middle school are working to build a sustainable life. They are starting with good nutrition. By building a hydroponic vertical garden we will increase access to nutritious food. The link between good nutrition and increased performance is well documented. The students have also made this connection and in doing so are taking a direct and proactive approach to increase student performance in our school through better nutrition.
By funding our project you are an integral part of student achievement. With the right tools, we can create a sustainable garden 365 days a year. The harvest will be shared with the school cafeteria and students in need. It will teach students how to provide for themselves as well as the importance of healthy eating.
