  • Let's Clear the Air

    Funded Aug 30, 2020

    We did it! We successfully opened school this year. While I only have between 6 and 8 students on a given day, we are all in the classroom and masked up. Having an air purifier has helped put my mind at ease knowing there is one extra step being taken to provide a safe learning environment for my students.

    Students were excited to see this tower in the classroom. They thought it was cool that we had this! It is quiet and does not interrupt our learning, but puts our minds at peace knowing it is there.

    As the year continues and we continue to take precuations in school, both the air purifier and UV lamp will continue to give us that extra protection we need to be safe in school!”

  • My Computer Crashed...Again!

    Thank you so much for supporting my project. This school year has been a whirlwind, and having technology that I can rely on really makes the day go smoother! With the use of my new laptop, I am able to Zoom with my whole class and see them all in one screen! I am able to share my screen with an interactive whiteboard so that students can participate in online learning. Students were excited the see that my screen was not freezing or that the Grid view was no longer working.

My students are avid readers. They are excited to grow their reading stamina and need a diverse and engaging classroom library. I am asking for help to make my classroom library engaging to all levels of readers. My goal is to get ALL students, no matter what their reading level may be, to love ready and our library! With your help, I am hoping to co-create a classroom library so that they can feel proud and accomplished! Students will have a chance to read many books both at school and at home with their families. The more books we have, the more chances students will have to be immersed in reading.
