I cannot begin to express my gratitude for your kindness, selflessness, and continued effort to help these children thrive. We are creating spaces and opportunities for better and brighter futures. There is absolutely no way possible any of this would be able to be accomplished without you. You are all true heroes and agents of change.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Grant

Thank you so much for your contributions to this effort during this time. I am confident that we can make a difference in the lives of our students and their families with the items that will be received. We are all very grateful and will be sure to give updates on the results. In the mean time, happy new year and thank you for helping us to kickstart it with a bang!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Grant

  • Support for Students in Temporary Housing

    Funded Dec 4, 2019

I, myself, as well as both, the students and their families are so grateful for all of your kindness and donations. We would not have been able to see the manifestation of our goal without you. We have been deeply impacted by all we have received. With your help, we were able to provide food, clothing, and toiletries for families that are truly in need in our community. We do not take this lightly at all, especially considering that much of the items provided by way of your donations were pivotal in making sure we had what we needed to help support families at the start of the Corona Virus Pandemic. Again, we are extremely grateful, and can not wait for the next opportunity to partner with you in creating hope and a better future for our families.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Grant

This project is a part of a kickoff effort to provide support to the student population at our school who live in temporary housing. These are students that either live in shelters, cars, or are in between homes and have no where to stay at all. I have recently launched a food pantry as well as a toiletry closet at our school, however I would like to keep the momentum and enlist the help of all who are willing to donate. The items selected on this project will not only serve in boosting morale and promoting focus in the class room, but also supporting the families who don't have the very things that many people take for granted on a day to day basis like food, toiletries, and other essential need items. The snack items in the cart will specifically be used as incentive for good behavior, and for demonstration of expected skills. The food items will be provided to children, as well as sent home in care packages for families in need. Items in this cart will be paired with some of the inventory from our food pantry and toiletry closet to best meet the needs of families and children, whether it be food for breakfast or dinner, or items for hygiene and personal care. There are also two iPads listed in the cart. The students really enjoy playing educational games on the tablets which further assist with comprehension and connectivity. For eight hours a day, these children are ours and are under our care. I believe it is important to inspire, give hope, nurture, and support them as if they were our own during that time. These children and their families are already at a disadvantage. Help us to be a beacon and show that we care.
