The yoga ball and the fidgets will help my students regulate their bodies. Which in turn will help them be able to gain a better understanding of academic materials. In order to be able to help my students have equal access to their education as their same age neurotypical peers they need a few extra accommodations to help them regulate their bodies and access their education. “I am Rosa Parks” will be used as an introduction to our unit on biographies. My students will have an opportunity to read and be read to about different people and eventually write a biography on a famous person. The fractions set would allow my students to have a hands opportunity when working with a difficult topic.
