Snacks for Kinders
Funded Oct 26, 2023My students have been beyond excited about the snacks that we have received due to your generosity and thoughtfulness. As I was carrying the huge packages into the classroom, the kids were immediately excited and once they saw the treats and snack that were inside, they couldn't wait to get their hands on them!
We have snack time in the afternoon everyday. We rely on donations from parents but that is sometimes very hard as we have many low income families in our school. Families that give what they can but often struggle to provide food to their own families, much less their child's classroom. This generous donation puts a lot of parents' mind at ease, knowing their child will not be hungry!
My next steps for Donor's Choose, is to find items that will be used for hands-on centers and stem stations. In kindergarten, it is vital for students to learn as much as they can by doing and creating! Again, thank you so very much for providing for this basic need in my classroom so that children can focus on learning instead of hunger.”

Magna-Tiles for Kinders!
Funded Aug 19, 2023Thank you so very much for being such an important part of my student's educational journey. In the beginning of kindergarten, it is essential for children to be able to construct and manipulate things in order to build on those skills to later be able to read, count, draw, etc. You have helped make that possible! My students have utilized our new magnatiles most every day and absolutely love creating structures and learning to work with others!
When my students were first introduced to our new stem magnatiles, they were so excited and couldn't wait to start creating and using their imagination. Since using them, they have continued to create more difficult structures and have stretched their imagination and problem solving skills. They have become an essential part in our small group learning.
We will continue to use our magnatiles to create while using hand eye coordination as well as their imagination. Our magnatiles will be utilized and treasured for years to come. We are so grateful for your part in our learning and appreciate people like you!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Jaclyn
