In kindergarten my students are learning all about personal space for the very first time. They are learning how to line up in rows and make straight quiet lines. Basically, children need order, organization, and routine to be able to thrive in school. Currently, my inner city school can not afford to purchase cubbies, as they are extremely expensive. I am struggling to keep my room clutter free and organized because we are using the back of my students' chairs to hold their backpacks and jackets. With the change in weather, their jackets and backpacks fall off their chairs constantly and it's starting to interrupt our day too frequently. Children thrive in clutter free classrooms. Please help make these coat locker cubbies happen for my students. They absolutely deserve coat locker cubbies!
