Flexible seating will allow my students to receive the movement they need without distracting my whole class. Different seating options will help meet my students needs and be able to absorb the things I am teaching them. I want these things to be tools for my students to use when they need them in order to be respectful of their classmates, but also means for them to be successful in their own learning. Engaging the whole learner will help my students to focus on my teaching and their own reading, allowing them to take charge of their learning. The seats I have chosen for my class will allow my students to have a choice and also be able to focus. These items are easy to use and helpful to create a relaxed and focused environment in my classroom.
