My students are working on their language and literacy skills. We will use these materials to have discussions to further their vocabulary and comprehension. We will also be able to practice our phonological awareness by using letters to create words, practice writing the alphabet and participate in shared lessons. Small group learning is a great way to spend more time practicing lessons. We are able to work closely with students and provide them with a more personal, academic experience. My students are in pre-k and kindergarten. Learning phonological awareness is a baseline for the rest of their literacy skills later in their academic career.
