The books I am requesting will help my students learn about history, more specifically, the holocaust. They will understand events in their own language. Learning and reading in a new language is difficult and can be frustrating. My students will transfer what they learned from these books and write about it in English. Please help my students have a resource they can understand as a base to build their knowledge of historical events. Some of the books I'm requesting are in English but contain pictures and easy to read language. Not only will they learn about history, but my students will also use their newly learned English writing grammar and vocabulary in essays, historical fiction, and oral presentations.
