This is my second year teaching STEAM. I have been trying to encourage students to come up with their own ideas for projects that I can support them with. Our science room is a nice room but not so .. inviting. A group of students in my STEAM class asked me if they could create a science mural for our space. They have collaborated all quarter and have came up with a beautiful drawing that showcases the ideas of everyone in the group and includes science material for all of the grades I teach. They even put in a trilobite for me!
