    Thank you so much for all your help and donations! We are so grateful for all your contributions! The students have been really gravitating towards all of the new items. Their smiles when they enter the room is just so precious. We started using the nuts and bolts and fine motor hedge hog game which the kids really enjoy. The printer ink and the laminating sheets are so helpful because now we can create yoga poses and other pictures for use of communication. We could not have done this without each and everyone of you!”

    The trampoline has been a huge hit. We have been using this for almost all start of sessions! The gross motor equipment has been so helpful too. The students love to build with the pieces, walking on it, and we have seen improvements in their balance and coordination already. The bean bag chair has allowed the students to have a calm down area when they feel frustrated. The compression vest has helped some of our students with their attention to play tasks.

    The amount of smiles and laughs we have seen from our students based on them playing with the toys is indescribable. These strategies we have implemented in the therapy room have been so helpful we have been expressing this with the parents! We could not have done this without each and everyone of you!”

Our preschoolers are in need of various sensory strategies to help them with their regulation and attention in school. The materials will allow them to play and have fun all while reaching their fullest potential. This will make a difference in our student's learning because it will allow them to increase their fine/gross motor skills and participation in class. Our site is brand new and we need help supplying the necessary materials in order to help our preschoolers reach their goals. Some of the materials we need are as follows: specifically for sensory we are in need of a trampoline for sensory input, compression vest, sensory sox, and t-shirt for proprioceptive input, chewy necklaces for appropriate ways to engage in oral motor input. For gross motor play and motor planning we need dycem for navigating steps and a climb and crawl activity set. For flexible seating we are in need of a bean bag chair, ball chair, and cube chair.
