Since we are a rural school with transient students, we have a high amount of students with a low reading level. First, this project will be used to provide access to knowledge for students when writing research papers and increase the level of historical interest in my classroom. The second part of this project is to find books that may appeal to those students that have lost the drive to read for education or pleasure. These books will allow students that opportunity. Lastly, this project will provide books that deal with the early beginnings of the US Navy, low reading level books on the Constitution and other events in world history.
