My special education class has been collecting water bottles within our school building for years, but due to storage constraints we are unable to collect as much as we could. In the past we would then bring the small amount of collected bottles to a super market in order to recycle them but we recently found a company that could come and pick them up when we get to 4000 bottles. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find a place within our building to store 4000 water bottles. This shed would be perfect and can be right outside of our classroom where my students would have easy access to it. The funds from recycling the bottles are used to reinforce the students with fun activities and trips that they usually would not have the opportunity to do (some of the past things that we have done with the money they earned was taking a train trip to a pizza parlor, getting ice cream from the ice cream truck, going to the theater, etc. This year our goal is to raise enough money to be able to take both of our 8:1:1 classes to the zoo.
